a broad-based background of 30 years in corporate and consumer banking,
management consulting and public accounting.
He has been an independent consultant for the past
two years – assignments have included distressed asset valuation
for G.E. Capital and the development of a credit risk model/ operational
interface for a Product Programme for a new regional product offering
for Standard Chartered Bank.
During his 16-year career with Citibank, he initially
worked in a variety of overseas corporate banking assignments. Subsequently
he was based in the USA where he focussed on credit risk management
and assumed a leadership role in a number of key assignments including
1) restructuring of the risk function for Cash Management products
and the development of a systematic capability of managing risk,
on a real-time basis, for the bank’s clearing and settlement
transactions in major global financial markets; 2) reengineering
of credit process and implementation of quasi scoring models for
corporate and FI clients; 3) implementation of customer behaviour
monitoring as a key tool in portfolio risk management; and 4) conducting
and reporting to senior management internal reviews of consumer
loan portfolios and credit processes of the bank’s operations
in Washington DC, Illinois, Florida,
Arizona and California.
Mr. Naeemullah, a UK Chartered Accountant, has
worked in the USA, UK, Ireland, Greece, UAE, Pakistan, Zaire, Haiti,
Singapore and Thailand.
He is a US citizen and currently resides in Thailand.
